About Andrea
Andrea Pinabell is a globally recognized sustainability leader with nearly 30 years of experience advancing regenerative, resilient, and purpose-driven organizations. Known for her collaborative and people-focused approach, Andrea specializes in guiding teams and boards through strategic, holistic transformations grounded in innovation, technology, and globally relevant sustainable and resiliency principles.
As Founder and CEO of AC Impact Advisors, Andrea’s work emphasizes stakeholder alignment, strategic partnerships, and measurable internal outcomes while enhancing community-based impact.
Her previous leadership roles include Vice President of Growth & Innovation at RE Tech Advisors, President at Southface Institute, Vice President of Sustainability, Global Citizenship at Starwood Hotels & Resorts, and senior roles at The Home Depot Foundation and Kimley-Horn. She currently serves on several boards, including Lime Rock New Energy, GA Cleantech Innovation Hub, and Georgia Institute of Technology’s Strategic Energy Institute and Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business.
Andrea is a frequent mentor including for the Cox Cleantech Startup Accelerator and has received numerous accolades, including Georgia Trend’s Notable Georgians and Atlanta Magazine’s 500 Most Powerful Leaders (2020–2022). A native of Iowa, she holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University, Sustainable Business Management from Cambridge University, and is a proud mother to her son Anthony and dog Teddy.
